Once upon a time, in the vibrant heart of Jersey City, two witty souls met at a local bar called Pint. It was 11 PM on a Tuesday, and while most people were winding down, we were just getting started—blown away by each other's intelligence and charm over a couple of drinks.

Our first official date took us to a comedy club, where we discovered not only our shared sense of humor but also how much we enjoyed each other's company. In a delightful twist of fate, we later found ourselves celebrating Valentine's Day wearing the same shirt in different colors—a fashion faux pas that turned into a running joke for years to come!

As our relationship blossomed, we discovered our shared love for travel, binge-watching shows (RuPaul's Drag Race is a must!), and cooking together—we give Julia Childs a run for her money. We’ve navigated through med school, business school, career changes, and even a pandemic together. Each challenge has only strengthened our bond and given us countless memorable moments.

The proposal was an adventure in itself. What started as a casual trip to a jewelry shop for a bracelet ended with us walking out with engagement rings in addition to the bracelet! We promised not to make a spectacle of it, but when the moment came in Puerto Vallarta, right in front of Vallarta Shores hotel—the place where we’ve celebrated so many memories with friends—it felt like the most perfect scene from our love story.

What do we love most about each other? Joshua admires Taylor's brilliant mind and unique perspective on the world (and let’s be honest, that perfect jawline doesn’t hurt either!). Meanwhile, Taylor is captivated by Joshua's sparkling eyes and fun-loving spirit that always reminds him to enjoy the moment.
